Lawrence Boykin Rose
ELGIN – A graveside service for Lawrence “Bird” Boykin Rose, 72, will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Blaney Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Todd Horton will officiate.
Mr. Rose passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Born in Richland County, he was the son of the late Lenare P. Rose and Martha Boykin Rose. He loved tractors, trucks and riding around with his buddies in his truck.
Surviving is his wife, Clara Peake Rose; stepchildren, Bambi Dixon, Wendy Hunter, and Mitchell Robinson (Dolly); 10 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren.
