Obituary of Carolyn Branham Moore
BLYTHEWOOD – A service to celebrate the life of Carolyn Branham Moore, 82, will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Ridgeway Ward, with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, S.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Missionary Fund.
Mrs. Moore passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. Born in Ridgeway, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Branham and Dorothy Dove Branham. She met the love of her life, the late Richard Moore, at the age of 12 and they were happily married for 52 years until his passing. Mrs. Moore had a love of baking and was known for her cakes. She lived a life of service to those around her and enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints her entire life and served in many capacities.
Surviving are her children, Terri Zenoni (John) and Brad Moore (Ginger); grandchildren, Lauren Banish (Scott), Christopher Zenoni (Claire), Austin Moore (Gaby), Aaron Moore, Grant Moore, and Lance Moore; great-grandchildren, Addy Kate Banish, Sutton Banish, Mathias Morales, and Baby Zenoni due in October; sister-in-law, Lynette Raines; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Gladys Stout and brother, Kenny Branham.
