Obituary of Larry Smith Hall

Blythewood – A graveside service for Larry Smith Hall, 72, will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery in Blythewood, S.C.

Mr. Hall passed away at home on Sunday, March 23, 2025.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late James and Eunice Smith Hall.  He was a welder that found joy in his ability to fabricate.  He also enjoyed farming, working with his tractor and hunting.  He was an accomplished guitarist who loved the music of Waylon Jennings.

Surviving are his daughter, April D. Grigsby (Ed Grigsby) of Elgin; brothers, Mike Hall (Anita) and Marty Hall (Terry); sisters, Kim Ballentine (Neil) and Carla Haworth (Herb); grandchildren, Cassidy Medlin (Gabriel) and Savannah Fish (Shane Kile); and his dog, Hefer.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Dustin “Dusty” Johnston; and brother, Jimmy Hall.
