Obituary of Maryann Nicole Large

Maryann Nicole Large, 16, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. Born in Camden, SC, on May 29, 2008, she was the daughter of Al Large and Nicole Colvin. Maryann was a bright student at Lugoff Elgin High School and was interning at Woolard Technology Center in the Early Childhood Education Program. She was aspiring to graduate early with honors and a GPA of 4.163 and continue working with children as a teacher. Maryann was a country girl at heart and found joy in being in nature, hunting and running dogs. She also enjoyed reading, drawing, music, children and being with her family. Maryann could light up any room she walked in, her laughter was like no other and she had a smile that was contagious. She will be truly missed.

Left to cherish her memories in addition to her parents are her younger siblings, Gracie Large of Camden, SC, Adalynn Large of Camden, SC, and Lila Large of Camden, SC; paternal grandparents, Lawrence Large (Robin) of Lugoff, SC; maternal grandparents, Mary Hill (Buddy) of Bishopville, SC and Randy Colvin (Patty) of Elgin, SC. In addition, she is survived by aunts and uncles, Crystal (Joshua) Conard, Robbie Bledsoe, Kimberly Colvin, Allison (Sean) Esposito and Morgan (Jeremey) Gobbel; also by her cousins that as the oldest held a special role in all of their lives, Aubreigh Hopkins, Xander Hopkins, Autumn Conard, Isaac Esposito, and Sybil Esposito. 

A funeral service in honor of Maryann will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, SC. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
