Lugoff- A celebration of life service for Edgar Thomas Miller, 80, will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Stines and The Rev. Donnie Dixon will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Miller passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Born in Clarksburg, WV, he was a son of the late Charles and Catherine Burdess Miller. Mr. Miller was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Vietnam War. Raised in the Baptist Church, he enjoyed watching football on TV, drinking coffee, and doing projects around the house.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Connie Diane Miller; daughter, Kim Wooten (Eric) of Lugoff; son, Darren Miller of Lugoff; and a grandson, Gavin Wooten. He was predeceased by siblings, John Miller and Mary Ellen Plummer.
