Mr. Miles, husband of the late Carolyn H. Miles, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Southwinds Assisted Living. He served in the United States Air Force and during Vietnam. He was a truck driver and drove for DuPont for 20 years and as an independent driver for 16 years. He enjoyed farming and was a breeder of poodle’s, yorkie’s and Maltese.

Surviving are his sons, Richard “Ricky” Miles (Julie) of Lugoff; brothers, Albert Miles (Betty), Wilbert Miles (Donna), Chris Miles (Jackie), and Knolton Miles (Pat); grandchildren, Brandon Miles, Jenny Smith, and Brad Miles; and special friends, Bonnie and Roy Sheffield. He was predeceased by a son, Dennis Miles; brother, Carl Miles; and sister, Pauline Richardson.
