ELGIN – Funeral service for Mary Helen Curtis Roberts, 80, will be held at 2pm on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hillcrest Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Roberts passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Frank Curtis and Maggie Dabbs Curtis. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her husband. Helen was loved by so many; everyone that met her fell in love with her, and she was cherished by her family and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts were members of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Allan E. Roberts; daughters, Debbi Coker (Walter), Susan Scott (Shawn), and Tiffany Flatt (Tony); grandchildren, Blake Coker, Justin Coker (Melissa), Clayton Coker (Brittany), and Ashley Bailey (Brandon Whittle); great-grandchildren, Lily Coker, Kaylynn Coker, Robert Coker, Grayson Coker, Brandy Coker, and Austyn Bailey; and special family friends that she loved as her own, Lynn and Jason Stewart, Lisa and Gary Stevens, Shawn and Tina Lewis, Roy and Trish Crout, and Mike and Janice Harmon. She was predeceased by her grandson, Brandon Coker; great-grandchildren, Mason Bailey, Drake Bailey, and Spencer Bailey; sister, Betty Ann Wilson; and her beloved dog, Muffin and granddog, Dalton.
