Warren Jefferson "Rocky" Perry Obituary

COLUMBIA- A memorial service for Warren Jefferson “Rocky” Perry, 67, will be held Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Duncan will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-6 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org or The American Diabetes Association at https://www.diabetes.org.


Mr. Perry passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Born in Germany, he was a son of the late William E. Perry, Sr. and Lila Lee Perry. Mr. Perry worked as a Paramedic with Richland County for 28 years and with Newberry Hospital for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, turkey shoots, tinkering, riding motorcycles, and above all, helping others.


Surviving are his companion of 15 years, Sandi Wolters; siblings, Cynthia “Cindy” Sanders of Blythewood, William E. Perry, Jr. (Leah) of Elgin, Randolph Mark Perry (Deniece); and several nieces and nephews.
