James Douglas Locke, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Born in Pleasant County, WV, on April 8, 1942, he was the son of the late James Denzil Locke and Opal Virginia Stewart Locke. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and Ohio State football and basketball.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 53 years, Louise DeFusco Locke; son, Joseph Locke (Christina) of Lugoff, SC; siblings, Carole Davis (Dennis) of Ellenboro, WV, Tom Locke of Parkersburg, WV, Faye Kuhne (Wayne) of Saint Mary’s, WV, Sharon Curfman (Steve) of Vienna, WV and Susan Reynolds (Neil), of Huntington, TX; grandson, Raygan Locke of Lugoff, SC; and great friends, Phil Wong and Judy Taylor.
He was predeceased by a great friend, Jerry Taylor.
Services for Mr. Locke will be private.
