Obituary of Robert Floyd

Lugoff - Robert Floyd, 69, passed away on Friday February 7, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC to the late Joshway and Mildred Driggers Floyd, he was the baby of 9 children. He was a member of Crossway Church and attended regularly until 2020 when he became too ill. Mr. Floyd loved the outdoors, fishing, watching Nascar and the Gamecocks. He was the life of the party anywhere he went. His aim was to always have a good time no matter the circumstances. But his greatest love, pride and joy was his family! He loved his wife, children and grandchildren immensely. Family was everything to him.

Left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife and love of his life of 50 years, Janine "Jan" Floyd; his children, Lisa Terry (John) of Lugoff, Darryl Floyd (Amanda) of West Columbia, Ryan Floyd (Alma) of Elgin; grandchildren, Jennifer Terry (Cory), Amber Davis (Tanner), John "Little Man" Terry (Alicia) all of Lugoff, Jacob (Amanda), Tyler and Juleigh Peake all of Ridgeway, Matthew and Logan Moody of West Columbia, Lily and Billie Dent of Elgin; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Bowers, Delaney Sturgess, Cj Sturgess and Waylon Davis of Lugoff and Laykin Floyd-Ritch of Elgin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends; two sisters of Blythewood and one brother of Lugoff. He was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.

A special thank you to Agape Care, especially his Nurse Andrea for her time, patience, knowledge, understanding and kind heart. Also his CNA Latoya and former CNA Amanda for their care, kind and gracious hearts during his time on hospice.
