Donald "Bo" Cook Obituary

CAMDEN – A memorial service for Donald Lavern “Bo” Cook, 82, will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 at the funeral home.


Mr. Cook passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Born in Blythewood, he was a son of the late Willie Samuel “Buck” Cook and Daisy E. Bass Cook. Mr. Cook loved animals and enjoyed fishing and taking care of his pet dog, Bella.


Surviving are his daughter, Tammy Houser Gladden (Ronnie); step-children, Marty Lee (Kim), Randy Sims (Melissa); siblings, Billy Cook (Brenda), Sara Cooper, Brenda Ortmann (John), Gary Cook (Paula), Linda Abbott, Stanley cook (Penny) grandchildren, Brittany Watts, Hannah Buchaluk; step-grandchildren, Kyle Lee, Kenny Lee, Dawson, Lee, Shana Kile; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Thelma Floyd, James Cook, Ronnie Cook and Diane Dooley.
