I was shocked to say the least to hear of Van's passing. We worked at Fort Jackson UTES for a lot of years and I was proud to call him friend and brother in arms . He will be sorely missed and we will miss him at our annual retiree luncheon in March ! RIP my friend and prayers for all who are left behind ! Love and peace to all !

Van was more than a cousin. He was a brother and a friend. Will never forget the fun had as we grew up together and the fellowship we had as adults. There will always be a hole in my heart due to this loss. Rejoicing though in the knowledge that he is now in the Savior's hands.

So very sorry to hear of Van's passing. Condolences to all the family. Van was a good childhood friend and he was a good Navy shipmate. Van, you & your brothers were more than first cousins, you were like brothers to me & my siblings. There was never a week that passed that they were not at our home or we at theirs as we grew up. Van is now with Butch & Robin and his mom & dad as they waited with open arms. We will always love and miss you.
