Kathleen A. Brizzie Sprossel, born in Hudson NY on July 31st 1944, died peacefully at home in Elgin, SC on December 23rd 2024, surrounded by her family. Katy, daughter of the late Clayton and Edith Willbur Brizzie, was predeceased by her husband Robert L Sprossel Sr.

Katy was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant, a perfect career for a woman with a large and giving heart. Her patients received quality and genuinely loving care at her hands. Miss Katy continued this into her retirement, caring for and giving a home to stray kittens and cats. She enjoyed reading, yard work, dining out and spending time with her family.

Katy is survived by her children, Jenny Larmore of Columbia SC, Robert L Sprossel Jr. and wife Noushin of Smithfield VA, grandchildren Ralph Larmore Ill of Moriah NY, Stephanie Larmore of Elgin SC, Sean Sprossel of Honolulu HI, and Alexander Sprossel of Spotsylvania VA.

A gathering for family will be held in the spring.
