There were So many great times we shared with “Speedy” as a neighbor and a friend/mentor to my young son. He was always eager to take his little buddy under his wing and take him out on the boat, have Bon fires, work in the yard, teach him to use power tools, do guy things or just hang out. Our prayers are with the family and friends during this time. You will be missed by All!

Hearing of this news, we search for words to say. What comes to me from my heart is grace, thankful, blessed, true friend, and love. Growing up with the Speedy family as many of us did in Camden, we all shared a closeness with them. Robert and the group of friends from Sunny Hill and Northgate area always found ways to live life to the fullest as kids do. I was so blessed to talk with Robert a few months ago and we laughed about old times. In closing, we must hold on to the hope we have in Christ. It is this hope in Christ we believe and receive life eternal. My prayers go out to the Speedy family. I love you all. God bless and see you soon my brother, Kline Matthews
