LUGOFF - Funeral service for Joey Parnell, 54, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Dixon will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Joey died Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Born in Florence, S.C., he was the son of the late Joe and Betty Weaver Parnell. Surviving are his children, Rebecca Parnell, Luke Parnell, and Josh Parnell all of Lugoff; grandchildren, Haley and Paul Garbade of Elgin; sister and brother-in-law, Juwan P. Crolley and John Crolley Jr. of Stuarts Draft, Virginia.
