CASSATT - Funeral service for Eric Boyd Thompson, 33, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Jimmy Atkerson and Rev. Marvin Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 7-9 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Thompson died Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Born in Camden, he was a son of Jerry Michael and Jeri Carraway Thompson. He enjoyed camping fishing and bowling. Surviving are his parents of Cassatt; children, Amber, Austin and Ashlynn Thompson; and brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Angela Thompson.
