ELGIN-Funeral service for Bryan Garrett Miller, 39, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Wateree Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ron Gregory and Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Miller died Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Born in Lake Forest, Ill., he was the son of Larry Gilbert Miller, Sr. and Jean K. Heard Hood. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Jean and Robert W. Hood of Lake Wateree; father, Larry Miller of Valparaiso, Ind.; brothers, Larry Miller, Jr. (Edie) of Augusta, Ga., Finest Miller of Florida, Tim Hood (Channell) of Owensboro, Ky. and Bob Hood of Springfield, Ky.; sisters, Melissa Clark of Elgin, Amoureena Klawitz of Wisconsin and Angela Hood of Indianapolis, Ind.; paternal grandmother, Elsie Miller of Valparaiso, Ind.; and girlfriend, Jessica Huggins.
